God's Fall Garden

Minister's Message:

In Praise of Creation

The stars sparkle,
the water is still,
my body aches,
my spirit rests,
the silence that presses against my ears enfolds me,
until the loon’s mournful cry from far away reminds me,
that no one person or creature has claim to this place.

This is a place that God has created.
For all creatures,
to inhabit,
to enjoy,
to drink in
until the soul is so filled with God’s goodness,
that it joins the ancient chorus,
“Surely God is in this place.”
