an Opera in Nine Paintings
This is a new chamber opera by composer Oliver Whitehead amd librettist Linda Nicholas, telling the story of two (almost)
strangers who tour Museum London's gallery, singing about love, death, beaches and ice-cream while viewing the iconic
paintings of such London artists as Greg Curnoe, Jack Chambers and Paterson Ewen. The singers are Sonja Gustafson,
soprano, and Paul Grambo, baritone. The accompaniment will be by Steve Holowitz (piano) and Christine Newland (cello).
The opera is directed by Adam Corrigan Holowitz.
