Planet Ark has been running a successful plastic bag reduction campaign in Australia for years. The site features "how to's" for communities & retailers that want to go plastic bag free. There are also startling pictures of animals wrapped in plastic bags.

This site is fast becoming the hub for all information about plastic bag reduction. Their newsroom blog keeps track of news related to plastic bags around the world. They also have downloads that anyone can use.

Roots & Shoots Reusable Bag Campaign
This campaign is run by youth, & was founded by Dr Jane Goodall. There are facts about plastic bags & ideas on how to start a campaign in your school or youth group.

The London Coalition Against Pollution
This site has local information, plus a whole lot of links about the environmental consequences of plastic bags. A must see, especially the links to plastic bags in the oceans

This website is mainly for retailers. It reminds you of the cost you pay for those plastic bags that you give out for free, and has suggestions on how to reduce them.
